With these coloured waste separation bags, I will no longer suffer from frustrations when the rubbish collector mixes the recyclables I’ve painstakingly separated from the organic wastes. The coloured bags are Blue, Brown, orange and black. These 4 colours are defined by the Waste Management Association of Malaysia (WMAM) in their recycling bins system to separate the different types of waste. It promotes the 3R concept.
The black oxo-biodegradable garbage bags produced from recycled plastic, are single-use to contain organic wastes which will transport to dumpsites. At the dumpsites, the heat and oxygen will trigger the additives of the black plastic bags to breakdown into biomass which is environmentally friendly, and will completely consumed by microbes. This is the ideal life cycle of these 100% degradable black garbage bags that are no longer suitable for reuse due to hygienic reasons.
The whole degradation process is accelerated from centuries to months.
